Veto Pro Pac Tool Bags Product Care and Maintenance

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated

Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.

Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat

Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.

Don’t Overstuff the Bag

Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed…proceed with caution!

Very practical and good quality 👍

Jarrad. Thanks for your comment. We are always working to further improve the performance of all of our products and so your feedback is helpful. As to the warranty comment, the only reason someone would pay to send their bag in for repair is if they don’t have a receipt and cannot prove that they are the original owner. The overwhelming majority of people qualify for the free shipping and no downtime under the Zero Downtime Service. The Standard Service is a courtesy accommodation for people that cannot prove that they are the original owner with a receipt. This option provides coverage while also reducing false claims.

This pouch looks great, it looks like a quality pouch. Nice leather, looks sturdy and well built but… I purchased this pouch on 6/6/22, today is 6/29/22 and it’s already broken. The snap for the belt loop just popped right off without warning. I’ve barely used the thing in the last 23 days and now I have to send it back. I did the zero down time option, which is nice, but if I didn’t do that, I would have had to pay for the return shipping myself. Paying for the return shipping on a defective product is like pouring salt in a wound. $75 for a pouch like this is steep. I figured I’d start with the pouch and then move up to a backpack or something once I knew I liked the brand. After this experience, I’m not entirely sure about that plan anymore. I would expect a pouch like this, that cost this much, to last years without breaking or having issues. That just wasn’t the case.

Awesome pouch! I’m an industrial electrician and I use this pouch as my control panel termination tools. Plenty of pockets for everything and good amount of small pockets for control drivers. I have cable shears, strippers, flush cuts for plastics, and different size screwdrivers. Got room for much more as well!

I have a couple of the MP 1’s and really like them. I was buying other similar pouches of different brands from the big box stores and none of them held up very long so I was heading back to the store every other month spending another $20+ on a new bag. I figured with the Veto’s five year warranty I couldn’t go wrong even though it cost three times as much and even though they cost more they are built to way better quality standards so they hold up better. Well worth the price. After a little bit over a year of daily use I had to send my MP1 I use for work in for repair because the snap broke. Other than the snap, the bag looks like it’s barely broken in. I would definitely recommend this product.

Just the right amount of pockets for the go-to tools I use at the majority of our VDV & AVL service calls (11-in-1 screwdriver, 4-in-1 electronics screwdriver, strippers, scissors, flashlight, utility knife, sharpie, and pen). I usually use both the pocket stuffer and belt loop at the same time, and it really keeps things in place. Worth every penny.

Bought this for those quick jobs that don’t require a whole set of tools. Has just enough room for just the right amount of tools.

This pouch is a so convenient. It is the right size and the way the slots and pockets are arranged keeps everything compact and accessible. The pocket flap did not hold well in my pocket but the belt loop is the perfect length and sits the tools right by my hand, and I prefer belt attachments anyways. I have the Veto apron and honestly I have trouble choosing a favorite between that and this pouch. It’s a must buy for anyone trying to carry less and do more.

Awesome bag love it built to excellence nice leather and the sewing is great. Veto are the only pouches and bags I buy have several of there products. I also love the pocket flap I have a problem with pouches pulling my pants down a big problem when you don’t have a back side. Fits a fairly decent amount of tools in it but I’ve recently upgraded to the mp2. I think this would be a great pouch for someone doing small terminations. Highly recommend

Got this pouch about 2 weeks ago and It’s amazing. It is the perfect size for everyday carry. Built very well. I like the pocket insert helps support the pouch and keeps it in one spot. I liked the way it was built so much that I purchased the veto hi viz backpack tool bag and I’m i.n love with that as well. Can not go wrong with veto pro pack products. They are made very well and will hold up to the toughest conditions. I hope this helps make some a decision as easy as mine was.

Rather impressive little guy! I like how they made it hangs lower on your hip so your tools don’t bunch un your shirt/coat. And the quantity so far is very nice, I haven’t got to use it much but compared to my old pouch I fell like it’s worth every dime. Fits all the small job must needs and looks bad ass!

Bought this pouch about a month ago and I’m in love with it. Holds all of my essential tools! It’s just the right size to hold everything I need and not so big that it get overloaded with unnecessary tools! Love the pocket stuffer feature! Super handy for when you’re just moving somewhere quick and don’t need to throw it on your belt! If you’re on the fence about getting one all I can tell you is to buy it. 100% worth the money.

This is the best pouch known to mankind. This pouch is definitely capable when it comes to organization and capacity. This matched with my MB 2 I am able to tackle my service calls with ease. The MB 2 for my measuring instruments and the MP 1 for the hand tools. Unstoppable I say.

Great side kick to any Veto Bag, think of the tools you automatically stuff into your pockets or reach for in your bag. Where do they wind-up most of the time– on the floor or in the dirt as you trouble shoot. Well this MP1 bag solves those issues. Simply put those tools: strippers, screw drivers, voltage detector, dykes, needle nose pliers and writing implement in the MP1–it will really enhance your work flow as those tools are by your side and available without opening the large bag. An added bonus or coincidence is that the belt loop is slim enough to ride outside your main bag in the large D-rings. This unit is slim enough and light weight enough that it will not hinder your movements in tight spaces or weigh you down on ladders; also, you can clip a tape measure on the metal Veto decal when needed.

Very well thought out. I am a low voltage installer and this pouch carry’s everything I need comfortable for service calls and more. All tools stay snug in there spots, the leather pad on the back doesn’t make your hip sore when going up and down ladders all day. Absolutely love the size and design of this pouch. I wouldn’t doubt that this is the last tool pouch I’ll ever buy.

This is the epitome of an everyday use tool pouch. I carry: snips, 9 in 1, electrician pliers, multi mini screwdriver, pencil, sharpie, #3 Phillips screwdriver, 110 punchdown tool… and i can still add a few little things…

I highly recommend this tool pouch.

Perfect size for everyday carry. Downsizing from the TP4 to this. I prefer to use the pocket flap and use that between the belt inplace of the snap. This allows the pouch to sit higher and can wear comfortably all day. Able to carry linemen, needle nose pliers/strippers, dykes, 10-1, small adjustable, small tongue and groves, t-stat screwdriver, thermometer and marker. The tape clip on the front also doubles to carry M12 impact to keep at arms reach. Carry this and then grab a pm/service bag or install bag depending on the call. Highly recommend only thing is I wish I would have bought sooner
