Description
The TECH-XL tool bag is a service technician version of the original Model XL tool bag.
A number of changes have been made to tailor the tool organizer to accommodate service technicians’ tools and work routines. The TECH-XL tool bag sports 80 pockets with ample pocket room for hand tools, parts boxes, meters, a cordless impact drill and other bulkier items. 9 small neoprene pockets have been added for drill bits and bit extensions.

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!

I spent months looking at different tool bags.
Like many other people (I’m sure), I tried several different tool bags from the top named manufacturers, only to be disappointed. The bag zipper breaks, the bag rips or the bag just won’t stand upright and always falling over.
When I first came across the Veto bags, while I liked what I saw, I wasn’t so excited about the price. The price was the main reason I didn’t pull the trigger earlier and buy one of these bags. I couldn’t justify in my mind (based on the quality of the other big name brand bags) spending that much money on a bag that will probably disappoint.
Finally, I decided to take the big plunge and buy the XL-Service Tech bag. The quality of the bag is leaps and bounds above the other big name manufacture tool bags in the market. The material is thick and durable. The handle and zippers are beefy. The base of the bag is strong and sturdy, and the bag stands upright after setting it on the ground.
Wish I had stopped crying about the price earlier and just bought this bag.
Hand down, the best quality tool bag out there! You definitely get what you pay for with Veto.
I’m would even say that the quality of the bags exceeds the price they are asking for them.
If you are hesitant to buy a Veto bag due to the price… STOP IT! – You will quickly realize that Veto bags are worth every penny!
Stop wasting money on lower quality tool bags that just disappoint or fail after a few months and buy a Veto. -You’ll thank me later.

The construction and materials are of high quality.
My old toolbox was just that, a two-level hard toolbox. It was overflowing with tools and if I didn’t put my tools in just right, I couldn’t close the lid.
When I changed over to this tool bag, I found tools in my old toolbox that I had totally forgotten about because I couldn’t see them. (Almost purchased them again)
Now all my tools are organised, in sight and easily accessed.
This bag is a joy to use, I wish I had bought one sooner.

Greetings Veto, Roger and the team, about the Tech XL bag only good, I encourage and recommend the purchase of Veto bags, I have had many, many, many for years but they cannot be compared to the quality of Veto, I am very satisfied with the bag, it is over 80 pockets, they fit a lot of tools, if before I needed 2 or 3 bags now I can fit in the Tech XL, although it is big if I carry it on my shoulder it doesn’t seem so heavy when it is full, thank you Roger and the Veto team because we can he had the best bags at the moment, both as a guarantee and as useful in operation, health and growth in everything 👍👍👍🙏

So much tool storage!👍👍Use it as your main carry bag to a job site and leave it in your vehicle and possibly downsize to a smaller pocket bag just for specific tools! If you need more tools; just go to your main Tech-XL base tool bag and get what you need! I’ve always ran other brands open-top bags thinking the closed top would be inconvenient for grabbing tools quickly, I was completely wrong. My first Veto bag but I couldn’t be happier with the quality and the layout. This bag is set up absolutely perfectly and it makes keeping my tools organized and easily accessible so easy. I have worked in the HVAC for 25 yrs. Over the years I have had many tool bags , buckets and boxes. I have 7 co workers that all have various veto bags. I was very reluctant to spend the money on a bag. After 2 years my current bucket organizer was about to fall apart. I did my research. I have always carried 2 buckets. I couldn’t imagine combining all my tools to one bag. I did plus I bought the TP4 B pouch. For small quick jobs. This combo works great for me. Here is the ironic thing, a new hire had the tech XL bag and I was able to inspect it. So the newbie that doesn’t know that much taught the 25 year veteran about VETO.

This is a great bag. I use it for commercial and residential hvac service. Holds everything I need on a daily basis for a wide variety of equipment. Had the tech lc for about 7 years which is still in good shape, I just wanted something a little bigger for ease of removing tools and storage of larger/taller tools. Holds all my hand tools, parts box, volt meter, and Milwaukee m12 and keeps it organized with ease and still has more storage available if I need it. Given the quality of these bags it’s worth the money. Keep in mind this Bag is heavy but with the shoulder strap and profile of the bag it sits comfortably. Nothing compares in terms of rugged quality and organization. At first I just filled it up with tools, marveling at the large storage capacity and tool accessibility. Well, I would have needed a forklift to move it around! I finally settled on my everyday set, which includes everything I need at a manageable weight. This bag is beautiful too. Take from an old retired nuclear tech, nothing out there compares. I will be back for a couple of smaller bags for my specialized sets.

This is the fourth bag that I have purchased. As always, the quality is the best. I also own a Tech MCT, a Tech OT, and a TP-5B. This bag, with 80 pockets, is the bag that “has my back”. I am able to store all of the items that I need but don’t use frequently. As with all of my other “Veto’s”, I proudly carry this bag onto a jobsite. When I get into a technically complicated troubleshooting job, I take this bag with me, knowing that I will have exactly the tool that I need. I won’t have to waste time searching for a particular tool, since this bag enables me to be very organized.

I love this bag. It is big and has some weight to it. My work area is 2.5 miles long. Work on boilers, compressors – sump pumps and everything in between. Had smaller bags but my tools were hard to get to. With this bag I have my standard tools but also room for any special tools needed for that job. It hangs well on my shoulder when climbing ladders also. I have had several bags this year looking for one that works best for me.
I also have the Veto meter bag which I keep my electrical gloves in. It hangs on the d-ring. Not my first veto bag. Will not be my last either.

Fantastic product, very well made and thought out, it has lots of pockets for screw drivers and is a very easy to use bag, etc etc, the only issue I had, was with a plug in socket tester. I use this device a lot, it plugs into a socket o heck polarity and helps o eat if the circuit is ‘dead’. There was no real space or room to put this tester in with ease, I’ve had to push I in to a corner to get it to fit.
It would be great, just to have a bit more space to one side to fit a socket tester.
The only other issue I have, is why is there only one side of the bag which has ‘poppers’ which holds the ‘bag flap’ in place, why not both sides???
Apart from these two issues it has been a great bag, I’m really please with he quality of the bag, I’ll definitely be using it for the next 5yrs.

Have been using this bag now for 6 years and really cannot fault it, stores a good range of hand tools, mainly screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutting and other cable terminating tools in front section and in the back bigger pockets, test meter, small parts box, bags of cable ties, small impact driver etc, main carrying strap buckle broke so contacted supplier who replaced it straight away, bag has lots of admirers but most wont spend the money, if you ask me it is money well spent, enjoy using this bag everyday, has quality written all over it, do yourself a favour and go by one, my advice, choose carefully from range and by bag best suited to your needs.

I have only had my Tech XL bag for about a month now, but so far this bag has been amazing. I am constantly, and pleasantly, surprised by how many tools you can fit into this bag. I am an electrical contractor and am always searching for quality products that last and that can make me more efficient. I had been keeping most of my hand tools stored in my tool belt, inside a tool box. When it came to performing service work inside people’s homes I would have to haul in the tool box, or dig out my belt from the box and carry that to the house. For a long time this frustrated me but I couldn’t find the right product to help. Enter the Tech XL bag. I replaced that large tool box with the Tech XL and I haven’t looked back. The majority of my hand tools are now all in one spot, organized better than ever, and are ready to be taken into any situation with ease. Now I can either take the tools from the XL bag and into my tool belt, or easily take the whole XL bag into the job and have everything at hand. The Tech XL capably handled all the tools I had in my pouch and all the storage trays inside the tool box. I love this bag! Buyer Beware: once you have one Veto bag you’ll be looking for any excuse to buy more!!

Excellent tool bag! Best design I’ve seen so far for efficient organization of tools. Plenty of room for the tools I need to carry. Total weight of my loadout is 40 lbs and is comfortably carried with the molded handle. My only gripe is that the shoulder strap is not long enough to carry the bag in a cross body / cross shoulder fashion to allow freeing both hands. Even for same side shoulder carry, it could be lengthened as I find the bag rides a bit high.

This bag is simply amazing. One guy in our company got one and then after everyone saw it and how well built it was, we all decided that we needed to get one because they are just that awesome. The amount of tools that you can fit in the tech xl is crazy. I fit all of my screwdrivers and nut drivers on the front of the bag as well as some miscellaneous stuff like levels, flashlights, parts bag with wing nuts, and some other things. On the other side of the bag I have all of my pliers. Being an electrician I have a bunch of pliers, crimpers and cuts for a bunch of different uses. In the back of the bag I also manage to get my Milwaukee m12 impact, spare m12 battery, bit case, and my fluke meter. That being said this bag can get pretty heavy so you have to be careful how you load the bag up and to not over fill it or else your back will fill it. The other thing that is amazing about this bag is how it displays your tools. With a quick glance in your bag you can grab the tool that you are looking for with ease because of the layout of the bags pockets. If you are an electrician or another tradesman who wants to have all of your tools organized and in one place so you don’t have to run back to the truck for small things then this is the bag for you.

Only had this bag for 1 month, along with the TB4B and the MB2. Still sorting out what to load it with and what to leave out. Love the access and being able to see everything, also it is stopping me leaving tools lying around to get knocked in the bilge as they all have found a home in the bag that allows easy access when you next need them. Got the XL as have a few longer tools that need the extra length but the trouble is with all the extra space you can load it up far too much. Currently weighing in at an uncomfortable 22kg (and still loads of room left), so lugging it on and off the ships is a pain but as I work mostly from the TB4B and the MB2 its not too bad and having everything to hand when doing a bigger job is great. Will update in a year to report if the bag can withstand a Saudi summer with the high heat and humidity (and the weight).

I am an electrician and gas engineer in the energy supplying industry in England.
I’ve find the bag perfect for my job. The bag has been a great investment.
Fits in all my tools very nicely, everything has its own spot which is handy for when I look for them. So many pockets and zips to store things. Can fit my 12V Milwaukee impact driver. Handle and strap takes it great, and sits straight up even with one side with all my hand tools weighing twice as heavy as the other with my meters and drill.

A great tool bag – built to last, so many pockets, I have found a home for every one of my tools in this bag! Certainly wouldn’t want a smaller version.
I’m an AV technician, and have accumulated a lot of hand tools, and bags of spares too, and although I have filled the bag, it is all very organised.
Only down side is that the bag does weigh a lot before you put anything in it – I knew it would as it can’t be constructed that well without being made of strong stuff – now its full it weighs nearly 20KG!
A great bit of kit, and well worth the money – it will last years….

For someone who is getting obsessed with tool tidiness this is perfect. Plenty of storage, good to carry both when using the shoulder strap or handle. This bag is absolutely fantastic. I transferred all of my line maintenance tools from my old metal tool box into this bag. Having the waterproof base and fabric is a real plus. I can’t tell you how many times I was caught working out in the rain or snow and water seeped in the bottom of my old box and all my tools at the bottom became wet and started to corrode. I highly recommend this bag to any tech that has to work outside in the elements. It will be the last tool bag you will ever need.

Purchased bag a few weeks ago after reading reviews and YouTube videos, decided to go for the Tech-XL. Looked about the right size bag for my job installation and commissioning engineer.
Love the bag the tool section is great, easily accessible vertical pockets. I only have one little issue is that the section for the test meters you have pockets directly behind them once you put a multimeter in can’t use them. So veto maybe make the front pocket slightly bigger. Part from that great bag will review in 6 months time see how I get on.

Have had my Tech XL for almost a month now. Absolutely loving it! Lots of room for all my tools I carry on a daily basis. The zip top keeps the rain out and any jobsite debris from falling into the bag. The neoprene pockets are great and hold my multimeter snug so I don’t have to worry about it bouncing around. I do commercial HVAC for a
I do commercial HVAC for a living and the bag hold nearly everything I could ever need on the job site. It beats walking back to the truck for something silly. The major downside is the zippers are horrible for a 200 dollar bag, I have had it lest the. One year and the one side has completely failed and the other side hardly works at all but sometimes will zip closed. Why not use a steel zipper, it can’t be that much more instead of these plastic zippers. If this isn’t covered I will be even more upset. Other than that great bag.

I purchased the tech xl about 4 months ago, and am very satisfied with its performance. I service and repair escalators and this bags holds everything I need. I’ve worked with other mechanics who’s bags fall apart or don’t hold everything we need, and I’ve watched them make 2-3 trips back to the truck for tools we need (And working in SF having to walk a few blocks waste a lot of time). I’ve filled the bag up to almost max, and yes it will be heavy but if it saves me multiple trips to the truck its worth it in my opinion. BEST BAG BY FAR! Price is up there, but once you get it you’ll be happy you did.

So far so great. I’ve been using my Tech-XL now for a couple weeks. In my world this bag turns heads. I’ve had people take pictures of it so they can research one for themselves. So far I have not used the shoulder strap but I may change my mind on that. One job I had to walk several hundred yards to the equipment that needed repair. That was when I noticed how heavy the bag is. I think that’s simply a testament to how many tools it holds because the empty bag is under ten pounds. I highly recommend this bag. The only difficult decision is which Veto Pro Pac bag to get because there are so many. It’s so nice to open your tool bag and be able to see all your tools at once instead of dig through a typical tool box.

Great primary bag. Good compromise between holding a lot of tools and still being portable. The only changes I would make is to cut the bottom out of the pockets on the inside of the side wall. All of the pockets have bottoms, provide a couple of pockets with no bottom for longer tools. I also would remove the snaps on the side cover. I dont see the point in them.

Then I saw the Veto Pro Pac distributor at a Australia Trade Show and I was really impressed with the construction and quality built of the bag along with its design for storage and organization of tools. I decided to look it up and getting feedbacks from a few users.
I decided on the XL because of the size and capacity disregarding the consequences of weight. I can put almost everything I want in the bag.
I love the tough plastic bottom, the handle, the materials and the design.
There are 2 pretty much useless pockets but it is better to have them than not with the space available.
My wife and my brother-in-law called the Tech XL the Prada tool bag but he is just jealous that he doesn’t have one.

Nice Bag and very well made. It’s a little bigger than I was expecting, so with that said, I probably should have got one of the smaller tech bags. It is heavy by itself and when you fill all the pockets with tools, it gets very heavy really quick. I could have loaded less tool in a smaller bag and would have had a good bag that was less heavy with just the tools I need. If I take some tools out of this bag to lighten the load, then I end up with a half empty bag anyway, so should have gone that route. By ordering it online, I really couldn’t see the actual size and weight of the bag, so only order what you think you need. This bag is really big and heavy. Other than that, it is a well made product. No one stocks the product here locally, so online ordering was my only option.

I have been a maintenance plumbing and heating engineer for over 28 years so i have had one or two bags in my time but this was the most expensive one i have ever bought. It took a lot thinking to buy in the first place but I am so glad i did its been worth ever hard earned penny. I know carry more tools than i ever did in a heavier tool bag but i can’t tell i am carrying it. It just carries so well and comfortable. I had the good fortune to meet Roger, the owner of Veto Pro Pac, while attending a Marine Diesel course and saw the tool bag he was working out of.
I am in the process of fixing up my 46′ Long Range Trawler and preparing her for live aboard cruising in the Atlantic and Caribbean. I need to haul my tools on and off my boat, into the bildge, etc. I got the Tech XL bag. This is the best made tool bag I’ve ever used. It’s beefy enough to hold the tools I need and holds up under heavy use. The virtical tool storage provides quick access to what I need without having to paw through everything. Plus, it’s has enough pockets that I can haul all I need for electrical, plumbing, and general woodworking projects, in one trip! In the marine environment my bag gets exposed to salt water, oil, and weather and it’s held up very well.

I am quite satisfied with my bag. However, I have been able to come up with a couple of possible design improvements:
1. The clip that holds the shoulder strap falls off very easily. If the weight of the handle flops over on it, it will fall off.My theory is that changing the latching bump thing on the clip to a right angle triangle shape it may latch more securely.
2. This was actually a guy I work with’s idea. To have handles that can be hung off of the same rings as the shoulder strap. This would allow you to carry the in front of you and keep you more balanced.
I still haven’t managed to find a use for every single pocket. I really like the big neoprene one. It could be bigger though. I only say that because I can’t fit my Fluke 179 multi meter with case in a pocket. So I just let it sit in front on the bottom, which is fine. I think I put tie wraps in it or something else that doesn’t really take advantage of the stretchiness. I can’t fill it because the meter is so fat. I probably could store it better if I ditched the case, and spread my different types of leads around. I’m able to carry all the tools I need as an electrician that builds machines. I can’t get my tool box close in our shop, and everything is always moving around to make everything fit. It’s a lot too small. My bag allows me to have everything I could need with me and organized.

Bag did out last any other bad by far. Had mine about three years and non of the zippers close anymore, they’re all ripped up. There’s also holes in the top. I called for a warranty replacement with zero down time (I did register my bag). And they wanted the original sales receipt. There’s no way I could produce this three years later. I wasn’t too impressed with this. Other than that I would probably buy another bag (i don’t have the ability to go without a work bag while they fix/send me a new one).

I do low voltage and electrical work. When Im behind an a/v rack I used to have to tilt my other bag towards me so I could see my tools or lean over and have to dig for them, crawling out from the perfect position wasting valuable time. Now I can see everything I need @ a glance and can easily access every tool like a mini wall-rack. I put the bag on a mini dolley and can spin it for the other side w/ my bigger items like meters and gloves never losing my position. I like that its taller so I can grab it and move it quickly w/o having to bend as far. Its a little heavy but if you load this up you need the extra support & construction to last, not like the competitions barbie bag cheap stitching and scary logos.
Wish I had pulled the trigger on this one a lot sooner! Get one you will not be disappointed. 5 stars

As an appliance repair tech for a high end brand for 8 years, I have been through a lot of different tool boxes and bags. Some were too heavy, some simply fell apart after a year, and some seemed to have been designed by someone who has never used or needed to transport tools.
The Veto Pro Pac is none of these things. Smart layout, built with quality materials and craftsmanship. I expect to be using this bag for many years.

I have been using my Tech XL bag for a good 8 months now and can provide experienced feedback. It does hold a lot of tools, big plus. Downside to that fact, it weighs 46 lbs. I am an HVAC/R technician and hoisting up onto roof isn’t for the weak. I definitely sturdy; and I rarely need a tool that isn’t in the bag (which is its main purpose for me). I like the plastic bottom; it does absorb all the kitchen water on the floors. My biggest flaw is that te handle is dirty and my hands gets black from carrying it without gloves. It’s dirty from the greasy crud I get my hands into while wearing gloves. I wish I couldwipe the handle clean.

The one and only reason I
The one and only reason I didn’t give this bag five stars is the clip on the strap. Please do away with this and use the velcro as the other bags have. The first time you clip the strap to the handle it loosens and thus doesn’t stay secure any longer. Other than that feature I love it. Had received a Tech bag when they first came out as a promotion about six years ago. Out grew it and got the Tech-XL.

As a phone and network admin, I need numerous tools. The days of carrying multiple canvas wide mouth bags are gone. There is a place for every tool in this bag, from crimpers to Allen wrenches to precision screwdrivers. Once it is loaded up, you can quickly see where everything is and tell if something is missing. With the tools upright, there is no fumbling or digging. The hard bottom keeps the bag vertical, and the center handle makes it easy to carry. The bag always closes and the fact that it is so well organized forces you to put everything in properly. After a few uses, you will wonder how you ever got by without it. The time saved by having everything at your fingertips, far outweighs the cost of the bag. The construction is solid. The material holds up nicely. Toss in a small canvas bag for screws or connectors and you will be ready to get to work. if you need them, there are plenty of rings on the outside of the bag to hold a butt set or meter.
The warranty is piece of mind. If you struggle with your tools and prefer to have a solid bag and to be organized, get a veto pro tech XL.

Exchanged a Tech Pac for this bag, Your warranty is second to none, I had an issue with a snap on the Tech Pac told Beesley about it, sent them proof of purchase and they took care of it without any hassle. I have found that there is more room, for all the stuff I carry in the Tech XL, than the Tech Pac I replaced. I also own a Tech LC, that I use for 90% of my work, but when I need everything, its in the XL. Sometimes/everytime you get what you pay for.

I bought this bag after seeing a co-workers XLT. I had been using open top bags for years and for the most part they did the job. But, they had their drawbacks (not enough room/organization, open to weather/dirt, water, whatever).
I was looking for a new tool bag that would hold a lot of tools and keep them dry and secure. So, I decided to give the TECH-XL a try and I’m glad I did. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. This bag has been great so far. Plenty of room and pockets to keep tools organized. No digging around in the bottom looking for things. I like that everything is closed up so it stays where you put it and dry. It’s made really well. It has quality zippers and material, and the shoulder strap is great for carrying the bag. I have also added the meter bag for other tools and to be able to take a few things when you don’t need it all.
So far I am very pleased with these bags. I will probably buy more when the need arises.

I have been a HVAC service technician for 27 years. I like to be organized so that I can be efficient at my job. I do not like to make extra trips to my van for tools. This bag carries most of what I need for most calls and keeps it organized. Other guys leave tools on jobs sometimes because they are not organized. With this bag each tool has a place. A quick scan of the bag verifies that my tools are back where they belong before I leave the client’s home or business.
It is also tough and protects my valuable tools from the elements. It is easy to carry with the shoulder strap or top handle. It is very stable too. While it is 5 times more expensive than any tool bag I have ever owned, it is also far superior. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Bungee cording the bucket down was alright but I loved my tech of so much I wanted something bigger to hold my excess tools I didn’t need to carry with me into ever house. This bag is it, holds everything I Dont carry in my tech lc and Theres still room to spare. I have owned a veto bag for more that 6 years and I can not find anything that matches it’s quality! Before I bought the Tech-XL I had the regular XL which I really liked. Then I saw the Tech-XL and had to have it. The new features such as the neoprene pockets and new shoulder strap make this a great bag! I had seen these bags on the internet, but never in person, and while they looked like a well built bag, I just didn’t see how they would hold everything that I carried. Then a co-worker got the Tech LX, and the TP3. I couldn’t believe how many tools he had in there, how easy the the bag was to carry, and how accessible the tools were. I have now been working out of my Tech XL for three weeks, I carry all of the tools that I had in my dig and dump, (including a drill, and impact), plus have even added some. I have yet to have to go looking/dig for a tool! I added a TP3, and TP4 to the sides, I really like how quickly I can take the TP3 off, and have it on my belt. With my old tool pouch, I never had a DMM with me, with the TP3 I always have one. I also added two meter bags to the front of the Tech XL, for carrying additional meters that I use, (i.e., clamp meter, and 4-20mA clamp meter). I have since purchased the Laptop series LT, and four more meter bags. Next, I want to get the back pack bag.

The new design on tool
The new design on tool pockets has been lowered on the new bags, this results in the pockets to pull loose from the backing and tools are not held in place as in the older bags. I have a bag that is almost 4 years old and is still going strong, I have had to have the zipper repaired once but I fly 3 to 5 times a week and this is the ONLY bag that has ever lasted more that a month. Under normal technician use this will be the last bag you will ever buy.

bag is weighing upto 17.5 kg fully loaded, handle and strap takes it great. and sits straight up even with one side with all my hand tools weighing twice as heavy as the other with my meters and drill.
overall very happy with my purchase.
allready have family and work mates looking at buying there own veto pro pacs.
Looking forward to purchasing the Tech Backpack next .
